A pop up camper makeover doesn’t have to be elaborate. There. I said it… now don’t hate me. 😉 A few weeks ago, I posted pictures of Kate’s Pop Up Camper Makeover on our Facebook page. Kate and her family wanted the sleeping comforts of a camper without all the glamour. They did an amazing, simplistic pop up camper makeover so their kids would still experience “the great outdoors” without any distractions. When Laura sent me her camper makeover, I was again reminded of just how beautiful a simplistic makeover can be. Laura’s camper has a few more amenities than Kate’s, but both have those clean lines and whimsical patterns that remind me of simpler times. Here’s Laura to tell us all about how she remodeled her pop up camper…
Last fall my husband and I decided we wanted to buy a pop up camper. Our budget was not as high as I would have liked it to be, but then my husband told me we could remodel it! I came across the makeovers from The Pop Up Princess and was excited to remodel a camper. We ended up buying a 1998 Coleman Seapine for $1800. It was mostly in good condition. It did have some mold on vinyl, and the floor was rotted a little in all the corners. We bought during the winter, so I just had to wait until spring arrived to remodel it. I spend hours on this blog getting ideas all winter long.
Isn’t it lovely? I love how minimalistic Laura’s pop up camper makeover is. It’s beautiful, simple, and perfect for experiencing the great outdoors with little ones. Thanks so much for sharing your amazing makeover with us, Laura. I just know your kids will completely forget about the hours of fabric shopping they had to endure once you get them out camping. It’ll all be worth it! 😉
