Before I began my pop up camper makeover, I spent hours combing through Pinterest and the Internet searching for ideas. I know how inspiring other makeovers can be, which is why I am so passionate about the reader features on this blog. I was there not long ago trying to plan out my own remodel. In fact, the first pop up camper remodels I featured on the blog were the very ones that inspired my own makeover. You can find them in a roundup post here.
That is why I am so excited to share five more amazing reader makeovers today. I hope you draw as much inspiration from them as I did. And don’t forget to visit their blogs–I’ve included the links below–if you’re eager for more information on their makeovers. 🙂

First off, we have Lisa’s makeover. You might remember Lisa from her first pop up camper makeover, featured here on The Pop Up Princess back in June 2016. She had so much fun remodeling her first camper that she sold it and started working on another. Lisa is great at updating her campers on a tight budget, and this latest camper is no exception. Meet George. Lisa painted the cabinets a pretty, pale blue and added curtains and accessories. What I love about George is that Lisa can change out his curtains and bedding to give him a whole new look. It’s amazing how different George looks dressed in a different color, right? And it sure looks like her kids are enjoying hanging out in here as well. What a great little playhouse! If you want to see more pictures and read all the details, be sure to check out Lisa’s blog, Rice Camp, here.
I always feel most creative when I am out in nature. I get my best ideas when I am sitting outside my camper, sipping cocoa around the campfire. Melissa and her husband must feel the same way, because they decided to purchase a pop up camper to make into a creative retreat. They are both artistic people–Melissa is a published writer, and her husband, Shea, plays guitar and mandolin and loves drawing. They snatched up a 1999 Coleman pop up for a great price and got to work. After a little elbow grease–the camper had some significant mildew–and some cute new fabrics, Melissa’s PUP looks completely unrecognizable. Isn’t it pretty? She didn’t even have to paint the cabinets or change out the flooring. The new curtains and bedding were enough to give the camper a whole new look. It’s the perfect spot for Melissa to hang out and work on her next book. Want to see more pictures and read all about it? Check out Melissa’s blog here.
Family Adventure Awaits
I love a good rebuild story–and Emily had just that on their hands when she tackled her 1995 Jayco pop up camper makeover. There was some significant water damage, and the entire roof needed to be rebuilt. I’m amazed at how Emily and her family worked together to repair the damage and make their camper a little home away from home.
Now they’ve got an amazing little space that they can pull along behind them as they find the next adventure. Those are my kind of people! 😉 If you have a roof rebuild in your foreseeable future, you will definitely want to check out their blog, Family Adventure Awaits, here.
This next makeover definitely has a tropical feel, which is perfect for a vacation retreat. Jackie and her husband enjoyed camping with their grandkids, but didn’t enjoy sleeping on the ground. A pop up camper was the perfect solution for them, and they soon acquired a 2009 Rockwood Freedom. Jackie had been inspired by the awesome reader makeovers here on the blog, and she knew she wanted her new camper to reflect her personality. They got to work, and the transformation is amazing. Look at that bed! So much better than sleeping on the ground, right? If you are curious about Jackie’s camper remodel, you can read all about it on her blog, Maybe It’s Just Me, which you can find here.
If you are a fan of the beach, you will love Adam and Chris’s seaside makeover. Adam and Chris live in South Carolina, and they love vacationing near the seashore. The decision to go with a beachy theme was a no-brainer. Their new PUP also had some significant water damage, so they had their work cut out for them. They weren’t discouraged by the amount of work, and I am so glad they stuck with it. The end result is simply gorgeous.I love the calming colors and the cute little accents… and those gray cabinets are amazing! If you want to see all the details (and more gorgeous pictures) of Adam and Chris’s pop up camper transformation, be sure to check out their blog, Great Vacations, here.
That wraps up this week’s features. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did. I am constantly amazed by the gorgeous remodels that come my way every month. Thank you so much for sharing your camper transformations with me! You guys are awesome! 😀
